Sunny Days...

The last few days have done a wonderful job of reminding me that Spring is just around the corner. (Although knowing that this is New England, we're probably in for the snowstorm of the year next week!). The temperatures have been creeping up into the 40s and even the 50s and the sun has been shining as well. It has felt great to be playing outside with Elijah without shivering and wondering if it's possible to add on one more layer of clothes. We've also taken advantage of the warmer weather to try and tackle the mountains of ice and snow that are around our property. The driveway is covered in ice and snow and we have a few huge piles of snow near the sidewalk. Everyday we slowly chip away at the mess, revealing more sidewalk or driveway underneath. Elijah enjoys helping out as well and hopefully by sometime in March we'll have cleared away all the remaining signs of winter. We did some more work outside today and it was wonderful to just be outside in a fleece jacket and sunglasses. I could tell Elijah felt the same way!
